The Human Resource Division (HRD) led the successful conduct of the Strategic Orientation for the Advancement of HRs (SOAHRs) on August 12, 2016 at the Function Room, Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office No. 2, San Gabriel, Tuguegarao City.
SOAHRs is an activity designed to gather all Human Resource Management (HRM) Practitioners of National Government Agencies (NGAs), Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and State, Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the region. Thus, constituting the Regional Council of Personnel Officers (RCPO).
Recognizing the indispensable role of the RCPO as partners of CSC in the effective implementation of comprehensive and balanced human resource development programs and initiatives aimed to raise the level of efficiency, effectiveness and morale of all government employees in their respective organizations, the HRD invited not only the existing members of the RCPO but all HRM practitioners in the region to meet and discuss important CSC HRM programs and policies namely: Update on CSC Matters; HRM programs (PRIME-HRM and SPMS); Membership of RCPO; and Participation in the upcoming Regional and Luzon Convention of HRMPs. Dir. Rewina D. Arugay, Director II of the Isabela Field Office, Mr. Elpidio S. Bunagan Jr., Chief Human Resource Specialist of the HRD and Mr. Aniceto E. Temanel Jr., Acting Chief Human Resource Specialist of the Policies and Systems Evaluation Division (PSED) headed the different discussions of topics. A total of seventy-three (73) HRM practitioners attended the said activity.
Aside from the identified agenda of the activity, the Election of RCPO Officers also highlighted the event. Elected officers shall be taking their oath on the coming HRMP Convention on September 29-30, 2016 at the Zen Hotel, Santiago City, Isabela.
