TUGUEGARAO CITY - CSC ROII Regional Director Atty. Marites P. Lappay together with some employees joined the 120th Independence Day Celebration on June 12, 2018 at the Heroes Monument here.

 

The Activity was participated by both National Government Agencies and Non-Government Organizations who were all enjoined to participate in the flag raising and wreath laying ceremony at the foot of the heroes monument. It was spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in partnership with the City Government of Tuguegarao to celebrate the value of patriotism and selfless service.

 

In her speech, PIA RO2 Regional Director Purita S. Licas said "we celebrate Independence Day not only because it is part of our history, but as a continuing realization of our nation's story- a realization that we all share the task of nation building" //rbg
